Modern Cloakroom Makeover by Teddy Tails Plumbing
Teddy Tails Plumbing recently completed a downstairs toilet renovation in Easton-in-Gordano, North Somerset, transforming a dated cloakroom into a much smarter, more practical and contemporary space.

The Customer’s Requirement
The existing downstairs toilet needed updating to create a more attractive and practical room.
As with many cloakrooms, available space was limited, so careful consideration had to be given to the size and positioning of the sanitaryware. The aim was to create a modern downstairs toilet without making the room feel cramped.
A slimline basin was therefore an important part of the finished design, providing everyday functionality while preserving as much usable floor space as possible.
Removing the Existing Fixtures
The renovation began with the removal of the existing fittings and preparation of the room for the new installation.
Renovating a compact cloakroom requires careful sequencing because plumbing, flooring, wall finishes and sanitaryware all need to work together within a relatively restricted area.
The existing installation was stripped back sufficiently to allow the room to be prepared properly before the new fittings and finishes were introduced.
New Modern Toilet Installed
A new WC was fitted to replace the existing toilet and provide the room with a cleaner, contemporary appearance.
